21 yo f. hit in head with softball above forehead on hairline 8 hrs ago. no loss of consc. only symptoms are headache and local pain. should i worry?

Bang, Zoom!!: Nope. Sounds OK to me......so far. But if the headache worsens and/or you get nauseous, vomit, or your vision gets blurry--well, you know, anything worrisome, then get checked-out. But a mild to moderate headache and local tenderness is to be expected. And some mild headache or a little light-headedness or queasy feeling might hang on for a few days.
