In-grown Hair: This sounds like a potential in-grown hair. They act like painful "pimples" along the hairline as they get caught underneath the skin surface. Examining it under magnification, a dermatologist or hair surgeon can "unroof" the hair and allow it to grow back out like normal. It is simple to do in the office and usually takes care of the problem. Hope that helps.

Leave it alone: You most likely have a small tissue infection (deeper than most). Continuing to squeeze causes more trauma and makes things worse. It will either resolve or move to the surface. Be healthy and be well, james m. Ridgway, md www.Larrabeecenter.Com.
