Lump: You need to have this evaluated by your doctor.  This would not be a usual finding after a cold&gt;.

Infection: You have a lump draining pus.  This means that you have an infection.  Can't tell you what is infected.  But you need to see a dentist asap for exam and treatment.  An infection will not go away without treatment.

Lesion behind ear: The lesion behind the ear could either, hair follicle infection, sebaceous cyst, lymph node enlargement, if does not resolve on its own have it checked out

Probably normal.: Hard to say without looking, but there are often pink bumps on the back of the throat which are nothing but little patches of white cells and supporting tissue.  Sore throat can be associated with a little accentuation of the normal.

Biaxin (clarithromycin): Biaxin (clarithromycin) should not cause a lump at the back of your throat.   See your doctor to find out what that lump is.

It could be: viral pharyngitis or non strep bacterial phayngitis. Tonsillar abcess needs to be ruled out. Again you need rapid strep test to rule out strep throat. If it is strep or other bacterial infection you need to be put on antibiotic. If viral tnen you need symptomatic treatment.

i had a hard fixed lump in my back head that incresed in size for 2 months.but few days ago it shrinked and is almost gone now.also i had post nasal drip.which probably resulted in cobblestone throat( a lump in back of throat).or could it be cancer?

Need to examine: The "lump" that has is almost gone is not cancer. The issue with your throat is also unlikely to be cancer. It the sensation persists beyond two weeks, it would be prudent to see a doctor.

Can't tell: Without biopsy of the nodules. The lump in the back of the throat might be the feeling of the mass. You should have the mass and the nodule biopsied.
