Infection: You have a lump draining pus. This means that you have an infection. Can't tell you what is infected. But you need to see a dentist asap for exam and treatment. An infection will not go away without treatment.

Infection: What kind of infection, needs to be determined. Could be bacterial, viral, fungal, or a combination, each with it's own specific treatment. You need to see your PCP or Urgent Care (not ER) to determine cause and to have the appropriate care prescribed.
