Prevent cysts by using glycolic or salicylic acid washes, exoliating scrubs, retinoids, laser hair removal.

the main things i would think about would be acne, folliculitis, cysts, or hidradenitis.  If it has been present since childhood nevus comedonicus would be possible.

Usually not: The chance of getting an indentation is small, especially when the cyst is removed by a plastic surgeon.
