how do i relieve pressure in temples and behind eyes?

Examination: Therapy depends on etiology of the cause. I would seek out an evaluation. Otc analgesia such as advil (ibuprofen) ; a mild decongestive may give temporary relief while you seek out care.

i feel a dull pressure/ache on my left temple, behind left eye. eye feels irritated. had it for about 2 weeks. also feel pressure in left ear. i suffer from tinnitus & vertigo also, not sure if thats related. any ideas? should i go to urgent care?

: ENT evaluation is more appropriate than an urgent care visit, especially you have not seen a specialist for tinnitus and vertigo.

i've had a pressure/pain behind my left eye for around 5 days. i felt a spam in my l temple area last night and have had pain since there.

Sinuses : Most pain in or around an eye is from sinusitis or headache.  Pain reliever and decongestant should relieve it.  If not, or if it is getting worse, go see your doctor.  It could also be due to an eye problem such an inflammation in (called uveitis) or around the eye.  You need to see an eye doctor to really rule this out.

hi i have had a pressure pain in my right temple and behind my right eye. it is extremely painful when i have been sitting for a while and the stand up.

Few possibilities: Could be migraine, cluster head ache. A condition called temporal arteritis or giant cell arteritis which can affect a blood vessel in the temple region which supplies a branch to retina can cause severe pain and at this condition risk of vision getting affected is there. Consult your PCP immediately.

You need to...: ... keep gong back and working with your doctor until you have an answer. The most worrisome thing is that you have multiple symptoms that are localized to the same area: the left side of your head. In my opinion, MR imaging should be done. Excluding some type of growth or blood vessel problem in this part of your head is important.  Good wishes:)

woke up with double vision.  went to ent to rule out ear problems.  ct came back ok?slight pain, and pressure behind right eye & right temple?

Talk to your doctor: Any process which causes double vision and pain/pressure behind one eye should be evaluated with MRI with contrast. Talk to your doctor. There are several possible diagnoses, and one should be considered seriously, that is a treatable inflammatory condition called tolosa-hunt syndrome.

May need to see ENT: Dr. as pressure around temples or around eyes points often to sinuses unless it is the eye itself. You didn't mention which type of doctor you saw, but if you have no relief, you'll need to get a 2nd opinion to get definitive treatment, and possibly imaging too. Someone has to do a physical exam on you to help you out. So don't delay! Time for re-evaluation and see what OTC meds can help. Need hx.

Sinusitis?: Tightening pain in head could be a sinus infection/inflammation. As the body responds, lymph nodes at neck can become inflammed and cause head/face/neck pain as well as an overall feeling of fatigue and low fever. Try a nasal saline wash followed by an oral decongestant/spray decongestant. Use Acetaminophen for pain. See a Dr if it does not resolve in 3-5 days

Sinus or other: Headaches can have various causes. Pain behind the eyes associated with headaches are usually either atypical muscle tension or sinus headaches. They may also be caused by migraines.  If there is decreased vision or pain on movement of the eyes, see an eye doctor immediately.
