how come there is no general health doctor that is not allowed to prescribe prescriptions? like how there are psychiatrists (allowed to prescribe prescriptions) and psychologists (not allowed to prescribe prescriptions)?

Psychiatrists : Psychiatrists have gone to medical school just like surgeons and family practice doctors.  That education has given them the knowledge of physiology and pharmacology needed to safely prescribe medications.  Psychologists have not gone to medical school.  They typically have a college degree in psychology - possibly a master's or phd, but do not have a medical degree and so cannot legally prescribe medications.

does restasis allow to use for long term ? prescription for restasis should be used ?

Eye dryness: Restasis is used to quiet down inflammation which inhibits the release of tears.  After about one month introduction period, you should start feeling better.  If there is no change, the reason for the dryness is something else.  Restasis can be used for a long term but eventually it would be useful to stop for several months and see if the dryness has disappeared.

Ask your doctor...: Different practices have different policies. Perhaps your doc is stating that he wants up to 3 days to process refill requests. In other words, don't wait until bottle is empty &amp; then call in expecting same day availability of medications at pharmacy. In fact, regardless of office, it's not a bad idea to ask for refill once you can guestimate number of pills remaining, especially if using mailorde

Wait: No need to hoard medication. Others need the meds as much you do, be respectful to others. You don't need a years worth of meds sitting in your bathroom... that's what causes a shortage and that's why you are being prevented from doing it.

The back/neck : May be stemming from the Thoracic spine or cervical spine. Other consideration are other muscles/tendons/ligaments/fascia in the area.

Maybe minute clinic?: Sounds like a technical aspect of your HSA contract. Your MD should be able to give you a prescription  for meds they recommend or agree with, even if it’s OTC. You can use a minute clinic, even.

Unclear: I'm not clear on your question. The FDA does not allow pathogens or bugs in the food supply. However, there are so few food inspectors that they can't inspect everything. So, yes, it is possible that "bugs" get into the food. The FDA was created in the early 20th century because real live bugs would be in the meat supply - read "The Jungle" by Upton Sinclair.

There are some: Antabuse (disulfiram) or Disulfiram is a medication used to help people stop drinking. It causes them to become violently ill if they drink or are exposed to alcohol. There is also an antibiotic medication called Flagyl that can have a similar chemical effect.

2 hours: I recommend to my patients to allow for an hour prior to the exam and 30 minute recovery post procedure. I allot 30 minutes for one exam or 45 minutes for 2 procedures (egd and colonoscopy).

Any broken skin: Tetanus spores require only access to an open wound (cut or puncture)to begin the process of growth and elaboration of the toxin of tetanus. The nastier and dirtier the wound, the more likely you are to find tetanus a factor. As long as the skin is not broken, concern is minimal.
