Ask your doctor...: Different practices have different policies. Perhaps your doc is stating that he wants up to 3 days to process refill requests. In other words, don't wait until bottle is empty & then call in expecting same day availability of medications at pharmacy. In fact, regardless of office, it's not a bad idea to ask for refill once you can guestimate number of pills remaining, especially if using mailorde
