: Any stressful situation, which surgery certainly is, can disrupt your cycles, and any pregnancy occurring before your tubes were removed would give a positive test by now. Based on information provided you do not need any additional evaluation unless you go another two months without a period.

Possible.: There is a chance you can still get pregnant since tubal ligations are not 100% effective. Make sure you check a pregnancy test. If it is positive, see your doctor right away because there is also a chance of an ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy outside of the uterus, e.g. In tube). Best wishes.

Pregnancy Test: The incidence of pregnancy after tubal ligation is still less than 1 in a 1000. However, it is not zero. Please do a pregnancy test. If negative, at least the concern of tubal pregnancy is resolved. Some women will have delayed cycles at least once in their life time without being pregnant. If test is negative, then just observe for a few weeks and see. Good Luck.

Period: Sounds like this is your period happening now. That is the most likely scenario. If you think you might be pregnant check then check a home pregnancy test. They are cheap, reliable and available  at any pharmacy. Seems unlikely since your tubes are tied and you are now on your period

See your ob/gyn: You don't mention pain, but it still will be good to have an exam. Ectopic pregnancies are not impossible and they can cause serious damage if unattended. It might be nothing, but it's worth a visit. A negative pregnancy test is not considered valid in such cases and bleeding will only empty uterus content - it would not remove the embryo.  Don'y worry, but do have an exam. -not just a test. Best!

Unlikely pregnant: Tubals are more than 99% effective in preventing pregnancy.  Check a pregnancy test if you are concerned. then see your doctor about your period

: While "tubal ligation" is usually a dependable "contraceptive" method, tubal "recanalization" is reported occasionally. However, delays in ovulation can occur secondary to stress (emotional, work, etc), which will delay onset of menstruation.  If symptoms of pregnancy occur, obtain a serum HCG test to be certain about pregnancy.

Check a pregnancy: test and see. It is possible you are pregnant,even with your tubes tied. Otherwise you are having an anovulatory cycle, or early menopause is possible.

Get pregnancy test: There still is a small chance of pregnancy after getting your tubes "cut, tied and burned."  The risk is about 5.5% over the 10 years after the surgery.    Since this is new for you, you should probably get a pregnancy test.  However, there are other possibilities.  For example, you may not have ovulated this month so there was not signal for a period.  Happens to most women occasionally.

Unlikely pregnant: However...Pregnancy happens!depending on what procedure was done for your tubes, its possible, but rare, for a communication to recur and for a pregnancy to occur. Sometimes this can be a tubal pregnancy. But, most likely something else is causing your period to be irregular. Stress, illness, medical conditions, exercise, starvation, thyroid disease, medications, etc can cause it.F/u if continues.
