Dove, Caress &amp; Ivory: Aveeno (oatmeal) body wash, like most soaps, find its' way into the vagina changing the pH and enhancing your yeast infection. Dove, Caress, and Ivory are mild and will not affect the pH of the vagina if used ONLY on the outside of your vagina on the skin.(vulva).

It : It would be very unusual for herpes or vaginal yeast infection to spread throughout the body.  Other medical issues, such as MRSA (methicillin resistant staph aureus), eczema, psoriasis, pityriasis, or other dermatological issues can cause a rash on the body.  Trying a mild anti-bacterial soap and mild lotion may be helpful, but if it is a worsening rash, or if the patient had fever or new symptoms, then the patient should be medically evaluated.

Discuss use of vitamin e (topical, oral or vaginal) garlic or tea tree oil w your dr before trying. Over- the- counter medicines for yeast.

Tablets, suppositories, ointments and creams all appear equally effective.  Failure to respond to self treatment should trigger a visit to your doctor.

Not possible.: You will always have a small amount of the organism ( candida ) living on your skin surface.  Normal skin bacteria compete with yeast and do not allow them to grow enough to cause an infection.  However, when you take an antibiotic enough bacteria my be killed on the skin or in the vagina to allow the yeast to overgrow and cause an infection.
