hi 
i have pain in my left nasal passage. 
i have been getting a fever on and off for the last 6month. 
i have been to an ent and h says there is nothing wrong with my sinuses as he had a look at my ct scan. there is a mucus build up on the left pass?

Second opinion: If you are running true fevers for such a prolonged period along with persistent nasal blockage, I would be interested in knowing what the radiologist's official reading of the paranasal sinus CT scan was. If it was abnormal, get treated.  If it was normal, I recommend getting a second opinion from another Otolaryngologist,perhaps at a university hospital ENT department.

Hard to say: Each specialty looks at the interior of the nose differently.  Was this an ENT or  family doc?  None of the findings are suggestive of a particular disorder or disease state.  It may be as simple and dry membranes.  See an ENT or get another opinion.

Here are some...: Your concern in a little high WBC in urinalysis (UA) from antiacid, steroid, nasal passage, etc. is really beyond what we know in knowledge and reality. Please collect and bring these Qs to your doctor ordering UA for further elaboration. Endless online inquiry may furher deepen your anxiety.

i have flat, dry, & hard scab-like "boogers" that form only on my septum up inside my nose with horrible nasal passage congestion for months now. help?

Dry nasal crusting: Greetings. Fancy words for "boogers". These episodes happen from xcessive dryness. Saline nasal spray and AYR gel may be the answer. Sleep with a humidifier and drink more water. If these suggestions fail to resolve the issues, see your ENT. An antibiotic covering Staph may be needed.

on march 3rd i accidentally flushed my nasal passage with tap water. not knowing how bad it was, i began to panic in regards to pam. today is the 7th and i havent suffered any symptoms yet. how concerned should i be and should i got to the hospital?

: In primary amebic meningoencephalitis (PAM), symptoms start 1 to 12 days (median 5 days) after swimming or having another nasal exposure to water containing Naegleria. Signs and symptoms of the infection include severe frontal headache, fever, nausea, vomiting, stiff neck, seizures, altered mental status, hallucinations, coma. It is a "rare disease" as defined by the  U.S. Rare Disease Act of 2002

i was diagnosed with maxillary sinitius in left sinus three weeks ago. i am taking medicine and and a antihistamine nasal spray from past 2 weeks. only one nasal passage is blocked at a time. there is not much improvement any advice how can i cure it?

: You cannot cure it on your own if there is an ongoing bacterial infection.  Neti pot nasal rinses may ameliorate symptoms.  If you are lacking improvement, contact your doctor and seek modifications in therapeutic interventions.

Irritation: Any form of irritation: nose too dry, picking too much, overuse of nasal sprays or antihistamines, trauma, etc...

See doctor: If these symptoms have been present for two months without improvement, you may have a sinus infection.  See your doctor to see if you can get treated or need a referral to ENT.
