May need allergy fix: Could be due to allergies. Possibly sinus disease. Either way, see an ENT for help.

Hydration: The secretion dries up especially with medicines we take such as antihistamine. Simple trials of saline spray is recommended. Then the cause could be found out, such as chronic allergic rhinitis and that could be treated with nasal steroids but avoidance of triggers is most imperative.
