If the headache is in the temple, I'd be concerned about a temporal arteritis(inflammation of the temporal artery), although associated carotid artery pain is not characteristic. Get seen by doctor!: Anytime you have the combination of chest pressure, or heaviness, with/without shortness of breath, you need to see a doctor. With the Nexplanon you are at increased risk for blood clots, this goes up much more if you smoke. See your doctor and get checked out. If you get worse, go to the emergency department.

my husband has had indigestion symptoms for over 48 hours.  he has burning pain in his stomach and very bloated with paina that has woken him up.

Must be examined: and treated. Sounds like gastritis; however, could be gallbladder disease, peptic ulcer or pancreatitis. Make an appointment with your physician and schedule an abdominal ultrasound. Get liver and pancreatic studies. Until seem use Prilosec- 2 tab/day and Mylanta 1 tbsp 3-4 times daily. Do not ignore these symptoms. Get seen asap.

: Possibly, but more information is needed. There are many reasons for chest pain &amp; racing heart. I would recommend seeing your PCP soon for a complete evaluation. In the meantime, if symptoms are worsening rapidly, then I would get seen in the hospital.

Colitis: This is colitis and may be simply mucus colitis which would respond to avoiding harsh roughage and taking kaopectate (kaolin and pectin). However the presence of red blood raises the possibility of an inflammatory bowel disease like ulcerative colitis. Another possibility is the presence of hemorrhoids as the cause of the blood. A gastroenterologist is best qualified to evaluate and treat  you.
