See Oral Surgeon: There are some other rather benign tumor might show normal sign on ct or x-rays. Of course, if it is swollen salivary gland, then it must has a reason that cause it. Please consult an oral surgeon for further evaluation.

Temporal arteritis?: this is a possibility that temporal arteritis could cause these symptoms but you must consider a malignancy in the vestibular system as well

Preauricular lump : Painful lump in front of the ear is most likey an enlarged lymph node,  due to  an ongoing infection in the the ear teeth or face, it can also be  an enlarged mumps gland due to infection or blockage  of the opening of the duct inside the mouth,  in either case she need to be cheched by her pediatrician,  use tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen for pain until she gets cheched. Maybe: The temporomandibular joint is right near the ear. Tmj problems can be associated dislocation , osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Bone overgrowth in this region can be causing lump. A specialist in this disorder with imaging of  TMJ area could define problem and recommend treatment.

Lump, ear: Probably patulous eustachian tube.  Probable TMJ. Stay on soft foods/liquids for several days. No howling. No gun chewing. Take ibuprofen. Apply hot moist compresses. Several possibilities regarding lump. Could be lymph node. Parotid gland mass, submandibular mass, or something else depending on location. best to see ENT.

tmj left side. i go 2dentist regularly-dull left ear/jaw/cheek ache @ times.  tmj or something serious? had unknown hpv type in 2005. cancer? no lumps

If...: If you have diagnosed with TMJ and you have no lumps or masses it is unlikely you have cancer. However I don't have any other information on you on other symptoms to make a final determination on this. Keep the recommendations given for TMJ given and if not better or other symptoms you might need to see an ENT specialist for further evaluation.

It could be a virus: If you have not received all your immunizations- it could be something you may have to wait out. However, more than likely it is related to wisdom teeth, or possible sinus relate discomfort. A quick visit to the dentist may be all you need to find out and treat the situation.
