Possibly: If the front of your neck is tender to touch you might HAV a form of thyroiditis. See a thyroidologist.

i keep getting random itchiness on the front of my neck/throat. what is causing this? is it a sign of a cancer or type of disease? thankyou?

: This is probably from some local irritation and should go away. Apply cortisone cream to the area. It is not a sign of cancer

See your doctor: This could be inflammation or infection in the skin, muscle , lymph node or thyroid in the area. It is difficult to know without examining you. It would be best if you saw you doctor for an evaluation and work-up as needed.

Hyoid bone: You may have a displaced hyoid bone rubbing on the thyroid cartilage.  Seek the attention of an otolaryngologist for confirmation.

Interesting!: Involvement of both sides of anterior neck and throat without other areas of sensory or pain involvement, suggests a non-neurologic cause. Things such as hives, thyroid inflammation, severe lymph node swelling, laryngitis are suggested. These things can also cause localized pain.

small squishy moveable pea size lump in the front of the neck/throat area. i have a lipoma on my neck/shoulder. could this be another one??

Perhaps: Lipomas are usually firm and lumpy, something like a jellybean under the skin, would not call squishy. so I'm not sure what it is. Safest thing is to have a doctor look at it, but low risk of anything serious. You could also just watch it and make sure it doesn't change or enlarge, and see the doctor if anything changes. Probably safe to do this, but changes = doctor.

pain on left side front of neck and where carotid artery is. sore throat feeling sleepy and weak. ?

Inflammation: Discomfort in that region may be due  Inflammation in lymph glands, thyroid, muscle or carotid artery with an early viral  throat infection being the most likely and this will run its course in several days without specific treatment. However see your physician if symptoms persist or worsen.

i had severe stiffness in neck with extreme current like spasm on right side of neck and shoulder area and feeling spasm in front of neck right side even when touching throat from left side.a tingling vein moving sensation in right hand?

: It seems that you suffers from an acute neck shoulder syndrome which could be caused by a poor neck position during sleep on the previous night or you overdid something on the previous day, such as carrying or lifting a heavy object with the right arm. This condition is usually self limited, you can take advil OTC every 6-8 hours for a day or two and continue with your normal activities. Good luck

the front of neck itchy and painful,inside of throat in back really red and inflamed,have a sore on roof of mouth.should i be concerned?could this be a cold or something much worse like throat cancer? no fever and otherwise ok?

: You should have this evaluated-it certainly could be a benign process, like an infection, but the only way to know for sure is to have it evaluated. If it is an infection, it will need treatment so see your doctor for evaluation/treatment. You may need to see an ear, nose and throat doctor, especially if it does not improve with treatment. See an ENT Doctor: You obviously need to be seen and examined. Don't wait until the severity of illness forces you to do this, go while it is not an emergency and get managed. Best.
