Root canal pain: You should not be having root canal pain continuing this long.  Call your orthodontist who did the root canal to ask to be reexamined as the pain persists.

Opposite head pain: It is highly unlikely that an abscess tooth on one side will cause pain on the opposite side of your head. It is more likely that you have a second infected tooth or infection .Seek professional assessment.

does a  root canal infection cause headaches? my headache is on top of my head and forehead..

Comorbidity: Your headache is existing simultaneously but independently with the root canal infection or it can indicate a related condition. To rule out the connection, fix the tooth infection first. If headache persist see headache specialist.

i had a root canal and crown done about a month ago. now sometimes when i move my head /jump/ run i get a sharp pain in that tooth? is this normal?

Post op Pain: During many  vigorous activities our jaws bounces our teeth together. Teeth should mesh evenly with balance loading throughout. Teeth after root canal therapy may still have a bruised ligament that holds the root in the bone. An evaluation of this needs to be done to see if a prematurity exists. If it does, delayed healing will occur.Your dds needs to take a look.

May be muscle: tension headache. Try ice to back of head and neck and gentle stretching. If not improving see your doctor.

Personal Evaluation: These types of situations cannot be diagnosed and treated over the internet. Nothing can replace a one on one clinical exam with x-rays. Please start by seeing a dentist who may refer you to a physician if the problem is non-dental in origin.

had 4 shots to numb before partial crown and next day chin/lip became numb. root canal followed & 12 days later my lip/chin still numb. paraesthesia?

Contact dentist!: You have waited a long time and it seems unlikely that this is clearing up on its' own. Definitely call the dentist to describe the situation and ask him to correct whatever went wrong. Don't try to self diagnose, it will not help you in any way. I hope the dentist will discover the cause and make it right as soon as possible. This followup should be part of the procedure done. Best wishes!

May be related: You might have an infection, but it needs to be examined. Call your dentist so that it can be determined if you need an antibiotic.

In : In a case such as this (pain after dental procedure) before going to an emergency room you should call the dentist that performed the procedure. The dentist will be able to get a quick assesment of your problems over the phone and decide the next best course of action. 
If they deem it is typical post procedure pain, then a stronger pain medication or other medication may be called into a 24 hour pharmacy.
If something more serious is suspected your dentist will advise you on how to proceed.
I know this was about 4 days ago. I hope your issue has been resolved by now.
