Urachus: There is an embryologic remnant of the bladder that runs from the bladder to the bellybutton called the urachus.  It is related to how the bladder develops.  This is also why pushing in the belly button is some people makes then feel like they need to urinate.

Yes: It's at the right spot. If it continues make sure you go back to your doctor. Sometimes ovarian cysts can rupture and cause pain. Ultrasound can be helpful.

Any Could be: All of them can cause symptoms. It is sometimes difficult to figure out which is causing symptoms at any given time. A pelvic ultrasound is the place to start since certain problems can actually be visualized. Then deciphering some of the specific other symptoms or lack of symptoms can help figure out what is happening.

Symptoms are similar to a bladder infection with urgency to urinate, pain and pressure.  Treatments are tailored to individual patients.  These may include Elmiron (pentosan) (the first oral medication approved specifically for ic), antihistamines, and pain medications.
