I have interstitial cystitis and endo. when i first start trying to empty my bladder i get a stabbing pain in my left lower abdomen that goes away as soon as i start to urinate. it only hurts for a few seconds and then it goes away. what's going on?

A few months after Laparoscopic surgery, i developed bladder pain (symptoms of interstitial cystitis). However the pain only occurs after passing urine. Could this be due to adhesions/residual endo nodules that were left around my bladder/ureter?
