Referred pain: Lesions in the deeper part of the mouth may cause the feeling of pain in the ear. You may wish to see your dentist for evaluation of oral health. If it is not due to oral health issues, the next step would be consult an internist to ascertain the cause of canker sores and treat the cause.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

possible i could have oral cancer?  but would your tongue and throat hurt at same time?  i also have ear pain, jaw pain, throat stings hard to swallow

i have small bumps in the back of my throat for a month now. recently  i experience  ear pain in both ears. also i have few small red lumps in the floor of mouth and also a white patch..wht could all this cause..i know  oral cancer has these signs.?

Oral cancer: First, oral cancer at your age, unless you smoke (anything) or abuse alcohol, is rare. Greater probability that you may be dealing with an infection. Please see both your Dentist and you Physician for examinations. Once cause can be determined, appropriate treatment can be administered.

i have been dipping for a year. i'm 16. behind my left ear hurts and it hurts to swallow. however i was sick a week and a half ago. is it oral cancer?

Sore throat: You are a little bit too young for having oral cancer-although i saw somebody with oral cancer at his 20's-30's. It may be an infection on the throat. Go to see your md to get checked. You need to stop your habit of dipping., i recommend you to stop smoking, chewing tobacco and drinking alcohol as those increase your risk to have oral cancer/head and neck ca. Also, you would need hpv vaccination.

i think i might i have oral cancer. i have a weird pain on the left side of my face and jaw area, and my ears feel weird like they have pressure. i don't see or have any lesions on my gums, tongue, or inner cheeks. i'm scared of getting cancer. help?

: Oral cancer at your age is extremely rare. When is the last time you've been examined by a dentist with radiographs? Your issue may be as simple as a wisdom tooth erupting. Call for an appointment.

Oral Exam: Did your ENT also check your mouth? If so, I guess you are clear. Call and ask them.

Not cancer: Common things are common. The most common origin of ear pain is a stretch on the eardrum caused by pressure or canal pain caused by internal swelling. Pressure on the eardrum can be triggered by infection pushing it out, or fluid drawing it in. Have a doc look at it to decide. Treatment if needed depends on the cause.
