You can also get this in supplement form -- at least 1-2 grams of epa and 500mg dha per day if you have depression.

Don't Know: Omega 3 fatty acids are suspected to improve patients with macular degeneration.  This has yet to be proven, but a study is underway to determine this exact question. 

Look for data from the "areds 2" study due to come out in the 1-2 years.
