Olympics: It is very common for people who are in pretty good shape to have a heart rate in the 50s, this is called bradycardia.  You do not necessarily have to be an Olympic athlete or anything like that.  I recommend that you get an EKG to make sure that it'st sinus bradycardia and there is nothing else going on.

Healthy: A good variety of foods is important to provide all of the necessary nutrients. Make sure there's a good balance between protein, fat, and carbohydrates. Too much simple sugar is not recommended. Fast food can be inexpensive but usually not the best most healthy food for athletes.

Hygeine/medication: Wear absorbant socks and change often. Let feet air out whenever possible. Dry thoroughly after a bathing. A small amount of powder in shoes may be helpful. Topical ant-fungal sprays and solutions are often neeeded. In severe or resistant cases, oral medication may be required.

Athlete: If a purist the origin of the word "athlete" is from the greek word "athlos" meaning contest; therefore, the definition of an athlete would be one who possesses or has developed the skills, strength and stamina necessary to participate in a competitive sporting event.  I think this can be extrapolated to include those dedicated, focused in their athletic training even if just a personal challenge.
