Neuropathy: This could be ulnar nerve compression causing numbness or pain in the ring finger and pinkie finger. See your doctor for an exam and assess for nerve compression at the elbow or armpit. Carpal tunnel syndrome can also be considered which is a nerve compression at the inside of the wrist.

Did : Did you get an mri?  I think an MRI would be helpful to see if there is any sort of mechanical block to your extension such as a loose body (a piece of cartilage that is stuck in the joint).   If your last three fingers are getting numb, this may be sign of an ulnar nerve compression.

Variable: This can be vary greatly, and there's always a chance that some damage to the nerve might be permanent. Usually, improvement happens on the order of weeks to months. Some patients, however, notice near-immediate relief following surgery.

Ulnar Nerve: you are putting pressure on your ulnar nerve. At this point since it is going away there is no need to be concerned.  However, it would be a good idea to avoid those positions as at some point you may cause enough damage for it to stay numb. Take this from a guy who had surgery on one elbow 3 weeks ago and is having surgery on the other in 6 days for this very problem.

Nerve compression.: This could be carpal tunnel, which is a compression of one of the nerves in the wrist, or it could be from pressure on the nerve at the elbow. It is less likely to come from your upper arm or neck (spinal cord). You should see an orthopedist or hand specialist to help with the diagnosis and treatment.

4 women, have heart: checked, as any pre-heart attack syndrome doesn't present the same way it does in men. It's milder, and can appear as jaw pain, hair or face pain, and numbness of shoulder, arm, going to fingers as described. Contact your PCP righ away, or go to ER if it's happening now or urgent care, and get an EKG, BP again vitals, and monitor carefully! Check BP now. Don't delay!

Worried: I think with such dramatic changes of sudden loss of motor function, sensation and headache, you need call your doctor immediately and ask if you need to go to the er. You are young, but your symtoms may be warning you of a stroke or something similar.

Maybe / maybe not: It could be an injured small nerve ending. It may or may not improve depending on how severe the cut was. Be sure to get it checked if you notice it to be hot, swelling, redness, numbness spreading as infection might be arising. Also any injury with metal needs to have up to-date tetanus vaccine

Get checked: It'simpossible to tell, without examining your hand. Sounds like you need to get that checked asap. Get to your pmd, an orthopedic clinic, an ed, or an urgent care clinic. Make sure you describe the numbness and any weakness.
