having a host of worsening symptoms, and pcp is dismissive. i requested an ana test as she seemed to slightly suspect autoimmune and i'm tired of no answers. results were: few nuclear dots pattern and 1:160 titer. not sure where to go from here.

See Rheumatology: The ANA (Antinuclear Antibody) Test is used as a screening for autoimmune disease and in particular for Systemic Lupus Erythematosis (SLE).  It can be positive in a normal individual and negative in a sick individual.  One of it's main utilities is ruling out Lupus.  If the ANA is negative, then it is unlikely that you have Lupus but it is still possible.  I recommend you see Rheum for workup.

i have various autoimmune illnesses including lupus, mctd, sfn and a positive titer that is a nuclear speckled pattern. however, im getting a low titer pattern of 1:40 with a cytoplasmic pattern via ifa staining. could this be vasculitis?

: Vasculitis is not a named disease but a symptom of other problems. Presumably you're in the care of a rheumatologist or other expert in autoimmune diseases. Keep working with her. Good luck.

hi. i am hypothyroid with hypertension low vit d. tested positive ana with a high titer nuclear speckled pattern. positive scl-70. i have joint pain and fibromyalgia pain. i have psoriasis knee and hand swelling dry eyes mouth vagina.no diagnosis yet?

: Just base on your symptoms and serology test results, a tentative diagnosis will be systemic sclerosis with Sjogren's syndrome (an overlap condition).

Depends on other lab: There are a number of rheumatologic diseases that could have that ANA pattern, and it's also possible to have a positive ANA without having a disease.  Diagnosis depends on more than just the ANA -- your doctor will probably do other tests, and with all the lab results plus your physical exam, be able to give you a diagnosis.

No: ANA (antinuclear antibody) is a relatively nonspecific test for the presence of a variety of autoimmune disorders. A positive ANA may indicate the presence of lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, sjorgren's syndrome, or dermatomyositis. ANA may be elevated in autoimmune thyroid, liver & bowel disease. It may even be seen with TB & hepatitis c. It has not yet been reported in association with lyme disease.

i had blood work done, and tested positive on the ana screen ifa w/ refl titer and pattern. with nuclear, dense fine speckled pattern. ana titer 1:320 h . no follow up until the 12th , and i'm panicking. seeing lupus on google ??

: Positive ANA with 1:320 titer is truly positive but it does not mean you have lupus, especially with that pattern. You should let us know the reason why you had this serology test done. Do not panic, ANA antibody is not specific to any specific auto-immune disease, just follow up with your doctor for further information.

i recently had blood work come back that said i am ana positive with a titer of 1:1280. it said nuclear, dense fine speckled pattern with cytoplasmic anapattern. i was hla b27 negative. i have fibromyalgia but isthis an indication of autoimmune issue?

Possibly: A Rheumatology referral is recommended. Note any rash, weight loss, joint pain. Further testing recommended.

hyperplastic squamous epithelium in a verrucous pattern of growth, is this bad? at places they show features of nuclear atypia. whats your view?

This kind of lesion: may be 'pre-cancerous"  Get it removed....(you probably just did ..right??)
