Any fruits and veg: Eliminating unhealthy foods is a great idea. Try making an open face sandwich of toasted bread, half an avocado and some oil and vinegar. Eat a sliced apple with almond butter. Use apple slices instead of crackers to eat spreads. Try a black bean burger instead of a hamburger. Bake tofu with pesto spread on top.

Most are OK but...: Eating mostly fruits & vegies is the healthiest diet! the only vegies i might avoid are french fries/other deep-fried vegies. Few: ↓GlycemicIndex: All fruits fairly high sugar content, only in modern age available: quantity, cheap & year round. Yet foods with same calories: very different impact on bg; this is what the concept glycemic index is all about: measured responses of people declared non-dm (thus control their bg better) who, after fast, eat same number calories & their glucose response tracked. Track gi, quantity & your bg response.

Trial and error: Different people get varying amounts of gassiness with various foods and drinks, because for example different people... have different digesting abilities, eat at different speeds and different quantities, encounter no standard ingredients list for most of the world's foods, take different medications, etc... Not that I can see: The crucial thing for your child's nutrition is to get healthy food in.  Fruits and veggies are very healthy and it's great that you are feeding them to your kids.  I would worry less about food being organic or not and more about ensuring they aren't overloading on processed foods, carbonated beverages, salt and sugar.  They really need to learn what foods are good and eating in moderation.

The experts disagree: mostly there is a small (20-50%) decline in vitamins in frozen versus the very freshest fruits/vegetables (but fiber is unchanged and that's much higher than NOT eating fruit/vegetables).
The bacteria / helpful microorganisms in probiotics are HARD to study and HARD to keep alive. The studies vary on whether the probiotics can live all the way to the colon.
