i have a tiny hole in the top of my gum. saw dentist they didn't know said it wasn't alarming but i'm worried. had receding gum that healed. help?

to my previous question. i got it pulled at a regular dentist. he claim he did not see anything. the oral surgeon pulled my bottom impacted but the top a regular dentist pulled it. he stated he didnt see anything. would i still go back to the oral?

Caution: Yelp is interesting but potentially very misleading. Talk to people you trust and respect about where they go to the dentist. Most times only bad things get posted to sites like this giving a potentially skewed vision of what really is happening. Others pad them with fake good reports. Make it a small part of the evaluation process.

Of course.: Try to shop around and ask many friends and relatives.  Especially during this bad economy many dds do bargain.  Try more senior dds who may be less money hungry.

Yes and no: Yes a dentist can add composite resin to a porcelain fused to metal crown with any number of after market products designed for this procedure, but it a short term solution. A person's bite can generate tremendous force and do in short order that would break down and fail. The real long term solution is a new crown!

Two Week Wait: Waiting two weeks will not change your situation to the point where those teeth are lost. It is unknown why those teeth may be loose... trauma? Infection? Periodontal issues? When was your last dental exam and cleaning? Bruxism? Smoker? All the best...

i recently had a root canal and my dentist started the process for a crown placement. but the thing she put on top of my tooth has come off is this normal. it doesnt look like it will go back on. is this okay to be off or do i need to be seen?
