can sulcrafare (carafate) cause green stool? i was prescribed this medication for gastritis, and my stool color has been green. no diarrhea as the stool is hard but it is dark green. i have not been eating things like vegetables to make it such color?

Uncertain: Green stool often occurs when there is rapid transit of feces through the intenstines - however, in that situation the feces is usually softer.  You described hard stool. I looked on line and saw a few individuals reporting dark green stool with carafate - however, I didn't see it mentioned elsewhere.

Fish oil: Fish oil is great!  make sure you get 1.2 grams of epa:dha at 3:2 ratio daily.  Take with meals for better absorption and decreasing side effect of fishy taste upon belching!  dont buy the products that have saturated fats; the cheaper brands!

Not natural: Gout is the painful precipitation of uric acid crystals in various joints of the body the most famous being the great toe.  Management is by blocking synthesis of the uric acid by a pharmacological agent called allopurinol.  This is so effective, and safe, that i wonder why anyone would consider anything else.  No "natural" product comes close.
