: It is likely that the dry mucus membranes inside the nasal passageway developed a crack. You then started bleeding at this site and a large collection of blood collected there before it clotted and stopped bleeding. This clot subsequently broke off when you blew your nose.

i just coughed and there was a little bit of blood i have post nasal drip and have been coughing all day and since i coughed up blood i'm worried something like cancer or a blood clot has happened is there something seriously wrong with me?

: More likely is that you have bronchitis or an upper airway source of the bleeding. Rinse nasal passages with saline. Please follow up with your physician, have a flu and COVID-19 vaccination. If you smoke, try to quit since this does increase the risk of cancer. Discuss a COVID screening test with your physician.

Nasal issues: What you describe isn't normal. There might be a polyp growing on another growth. You should seek a doctors consult.

hi. i got covid around 3 weeks ago or so. i had very mild symptoms that lasted like 5 days but now i get a lot of post nasal drip and cough attacks should i be concerned? (oxigen lvl is normal) also am i at a higher risk of blood clots or stroke now?

: Suggest contacting your local physician.  Superimposed bacterial infections can occur with COVID-19 and you need to be evaluated for likely sinusitis.

Possible: rinse your nasal cavity with saline, several times to help clean the nasal passages and hopefully clear the sinuses openings draining into the nasal cavity, then see your doctor / ENT soon for possible need for Rx medications, best wishes

Nose bleed: If there is a blood clot when you blow your nose, you are bleeding from somewhere inside your nose.  Winter time is the most common time for nose bleeds because it is usually drier during the winter.  Use some saline spray in your nose to moisten things.  This is a good start and may get this problem to resolve.  Best of luck

Several: Could be as simple as dryness, viral infection, allergy, blood thinners, bacterial infection, deviated septum, septal perforations, tumors etc.  Treatment depends on cause, so if 2-3 weeks of saline rinses followed by 3-4 drops of sesame oil 2-3 times daily don't help then see ent.
