: It is simply a description of the esophagus. In this instance, it appears that the esophagus is slightly thickened, but it does not tell why it is thickened. You should discuss this with the Doctor Who ordered the CT scan. If it appears to be a significant issue, andupper endoscopy may be useful for sorting out the reason for the thickening. Good luck.

: I unsure as to the significance of all these measurements have and whether they have any diagnostic value. This portion of the report is essentially descriptive.  Apparently you have a hiatus hernia. Your gastroenterologist can shed more light on your findings.

: I don't know about your particular surgical procedure, but it takes a few weeks after patella tendon surgery, in general, to walk normally and 6-12 months to be able to participate in sports.  Your orthopedic surgeon, who knows your status, is best to answer your question.

er doctor says i have a right ureter: obstructing calculus in the proximal right ureter measuring 3 cm-4 cm. i have had tons of pain 2 days ago, but it has eased up, but not passed yet. what should i expect next? i am waiting to hear from urologist?

: Are you sure the stone is 3-4 cm in size? A stone of that size will not pass so urologist has to take it out as soon as possible because the risk of back up urine to the right kidney (hydronephrosis) is very high. If you misheard and stone is only 3-4 mm, you will eventually pass it out. Pain eases up most of the time after several hours but it does not mean much about the progress.

No: Ultrasound is very reliable for screening of aortic size, plus it is far less expensive than mri. Mri and ct are better if you are planning surgery on the aorta, as they give far more detail and anatomic information.

Nonspecific: I believe that the ductal findings are nonspecific. Sludge in the gall bladder can cause abdominal distress and indigestion. A gastroenterologist would sit down with the radiologist and review the images and decide whether more imaging studies like an MRI or liver biopsy are advisable depending upon your symptoms or lack of symptoms.

There is a risk.: GE junction is an area that connects distal esophagus to stomach. It is often exposed to the stomach acid and/or infections (H.Pylori) causing inflammation and anatomical changes in this region. One of the changes is called intestinal metaplasia which carries high risk of turning into cancer. Typically, it first leads to over growth of normal tissue, then dysplasia, followed by full blown cancer.
