A member asked:

Is this significant? esophagogastric landmarks were identified: the z-line was found at 38 cm, the gastroesophageal junction was found at 38 cm, and the site of hiatal narrowing was found at 38 cm from the incisors?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I unsure as to the significance of all these measurements have and whether they have any diagnostic value. This portion of the report is essentially descriptive. Apparently you have a hiatus hernia. Your gastroenterologist can shed more light on your findings.
