Problems not likely: It is unlikely that the gas drops whose active ingredients is most commonly simethicone will cause any harm.  However, there is not any legitimate medical evidence to show that this medication in infants is actually effective so you may want to discuss with your pediatrician the need to continue.

By : By the date of this post about 4 days has gone by, so hopefully you have made contact with the doctor and your baby is better by now. For the future, and for others reading this post, if your baby seems very irritable and uncomfortable, and your instinct tells you that something is wrong you should contact your doctor. A phone call to the doctor's office after hours will put you through to a nurse or on call doctor. They will ask you a series of questions and advise you on the next best course of action (er visit or next day doctor's appointment).

May be her normal: Infants often make odd sounds and seem to strain in the usual course of their day. If she is feeding,sleeping, stooling and growing okay I would not assume she is in pain. If the process bothers you enough, have her doc examine her to see if there is any issues to treat, if not, let her be.

Gas at night: Avoid foods that are gas producing. Organize his evening meal earlier in the evening and arrange for a visit to the toilet before bedtime. A trial of a lactose free diet may be indicated. All the best.

i have increased my fiber & water 6 months ago to recommended dose. i always get avg.15-25 g a day plus 2l water. i rarely got this growing up because i wasn't paying attention to fiber and i hated drining water. i'm finding i pass gas now. normal?

: Yes, high fiber diet produces more gas in the GI tract. You should make a food diary in order to track down the foods which exacerbate the symptom then you reduce those foods.

done a ct scan and was diagnoses with a lot of gas, everything else being fine, i was given pancreatine, what could be the cause of low pancreatine?

Chronic pancreatitis: I do not believe that you have chronic pancreatitis  because the CT scan is described as normal, also you do not mention that you have diarrhea or greasy stools.  However, if you doctor has prescribed Pancreatine, it is possible that he was thinking that you might have chronic pancreatitis. Increased intestinal gas formation can be caused by other than chronic pancreatitis conditions.

been constipated for 5 days. took exlax at the recommended dosage yesterday and again today. no results but forced gas. would a higher dose be bad?

Miralax/Peri-Colace: You might want to try Peri-Colace, as this has a stool softener which might help - since it sounds like you're quite constipated. If you have a fecal impaction, see your doctor straight away.  Also, if you take chronic pain medications - talk to your doctor as an ongoing treatment might be good to prevent this from happening in the future.  Hope that helps!

i had gas and upset stomach and didnt go to my clinical and they said i need a doctors note to attend the next one, saying that i am fine to go to the next class. can you write one?

No: Your GP should be able to reconcile. Proper and reliable documentation is needed, many times an in person exam is needed as well.

Anal fissure/piles: Common, as well as the possibility that you have irritable bowel syndrome, check several trusted sources online as webmd, Mayo or Cleveland clinic patient education sites on how to deal with such problems, not excluding following up with your doctor if you have a regular one, good luck

Maybe. Maybe not.: Life is not exact. As a person with appendicitis progresses, she will eventually have a spreading infection from a ruptured appendix. At that point, her bowels will stop moving and no longer pass gas. Prior to that point, she can pass some gas if her bowels are able to move a bit. Think appendicitis if she has right lower abdominal pain, fever, and worsened pain when walking or moving around.
