Done a ct scan and was diagnoses with a lot of gas, everything else being fine, i was given pancreatine, what could be the cause of low pancreatine?

Chronic pancreatitis: I do not believe that you have chronic pancreatitis because the CT scan is described as normal, also you do not mention that you have diarrhea or greasy stools. However, if you doctor has prescribed Pancreatine, it is possible that he was thinking that you might have chronic pancreatitis. Increased intestinal gas formation can be caused by other than chronic pancreatitis conditions.
