Your dentist: Hi. That's a case for your dentist. It may have broken because of a cavity or an out of date old filling. You'll probably need a crown if the root is salvageable. Maybe more. I'm sorry we can't help you on the internet!

my molar was loose for awhile and it just fell out with no bleeding but has a big hole. what do i do for healing?  will the hole heal up on its own?

Loose teeth: Regarding the wound, it will heal on its own. Teeth falling out of your mouth indicates advanced periodontal disease. Not sure how many teeth you have left or if they have similar issues. If you want any chance of holding on to them, please see a local dentist for a consultation. In case you didn't know, periodontal disease can cause systemic problems.

i accidentally flossed near my temporary crown, which stayed attached to my molar, but the cement in between the 2 molars fell out. there is now a sizable gap between the 2 molars that wasnt there before i got the temporary crown. is this a concern?

Temporary crown fell: 1. Don&#x27;t put it back or  temporarily cement it by yourself to prevent swallowing risk or lung aspiration.  2. Call your dentist and schedule an appointment. They should try to fit you in asap. 3. Do not procrastinate call the dentist today. Maybe your tooth is fractured and it is inside the temporary crown.

has molar tooth extracted 4 days ago and stitch partially fell out just now.  am bleeding a lot!  what to do?

Time for tea: Find a teabag for caffeinated tea, moisten it with water, and then place it in your mouth over the socket. Be gentle but bits down a bit to create some pressure and hold it there for about 10-20 minutes. The caffeine will help constrict the blood vessels and stop the bleeding. If that fails, call your dentist. Good luck!

i have a crown on a molar that is 27 years old. last year my dentist put a small filling in between the space of the gums and crown. the filling just fell out. should i get a new filling or do i need a new crown?

New Crown: Average life of a dental restoration is about  ten years. A filling in an open margin is just a patch and will not seal that defect for long. You've gotten your money's worth, now it's time for a new restoration.

i had a filling done on my 1st molar on my left side in 2008/2009. it fell out last year dec 19. i am currently experiencing pain through my gums and my premolar on my left side.

i have had a bad tooth nerve pain for 1 month. food gets stuck in gums daily. my dentist couldn't fit me in for an appointment. my molar now fell out and the pain has gone. what do i do now?

Find a new dentist: Ur pain is gone because the  crown part of the tooth broke and tooth was infected and partially dead. The roots are still in the bone and eventhoughnit does not hurt is still infected and you don't want infected part in your jaw bone. Might need to get it extracted. Find a new dentist who can fit you in soon.
