Need more info: If it is local swelling and pain, hot compresses amy help. Ibuprofen or another non-steroidal anti inflammatory may help. If there is any redness or pain to touch, you should have your physician look at the site.

Yes: It is common after an acute shoulder dislocation to have swelling and muscle spasms.  Persistent swelling or muscle spasms need to be evaluated.

: Low back pain is mostly caused by injury to a muscle (strain) or ligament (sprain). Common causes include improper lifting, poor posture, lack of regular exercise, trauma. While topical NSAIDS may help, oral NSAIDS (ibuprofen or Naproxen) may provide more antiinflammatory effect. Alternate Cold therapy (20 minutes) with a rest (30 min), then Hot therapy (20 min). Continue the muscle relaxant.
