i get slight pins and needles in right foot and i'm worried i may have ms. it's been going on for a week or two ?

Do not worry: Focal localized problems in one foot is very unlikely to represent initial ms, and more likely is consistent with tarsal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, lumbar radicular symptoms, or even digital nerve issues.  Have this assessed and maybe an EMG study will help.

im 36. 2 weeks ago after major stresses started to feel pins and needles all over my body, here and there. really worry about ms. had 2nd covid 2 months ago. panic disorder since 2004. mri was clear last year. can it be ms?

: Who did out for this to be multiple sclerosis. It really sounds so this could be anxiety/stress related, but should your symptoms persist or worsen you probably should because of your primary care physician. Stay healthy. Good luck!

NOT NECESSARILY: Your symptoms are nonspecific and could be associated with many different causes, including peripheral nerve, neck or back spondylosis, medication reactions, and even complex migraine events.  Although ms can indeed present with similar issues, this is too generic to pin down with these symptoms alone.  Might discuss with your primary doc and decide if a further evaluation may be beneficial.

Not necessarily: Most likely your problems involve peripheral nerves, and far less likely, is a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis.  Of course, you could be having a medication reaction or metabolic imbalances.  Have your doctor evaluate.

: MS may cause pins/needles/pain, but shouldn't cause swelling/redness of hands. Rheumatoid can cause your symptoms; carpal tunnel or ulnar nerve entrapment can partially explain your symptoms. How long have you had the symptoms? Raynaud's syndrome can cause your symptoms as well, but living in FL means less likely to have symptoms comparing to those living in colder regions. Consult doc. had right thumb pins and needles for two weeks now. is this carpal tunnel? or ms? it started after doing lots of crafts using scissors.

Overuse. : More likely overuse rather than carpal tunnel. Highly doubt MS. Try thumb brace, rest and antiinflammatory medications OTC. See your doctor if not better within a week. Best wishes

i have had a burning feeling in the muscle on top of my forearm for 2 weeks now. ive been trying to wait it out but its still there. ive also experienced a spasm in one of my back muscles randomly and pins and needles on my thigh. could this be ms?

: It is not feasible to provide a precise diagnosis, but several different diagnostic possibilities loom, and MS would not be the most likely.  Start with your primary care doctor, and the next step may involve a neurological consultation.

: MS doesn't cause cataracts or even glaucoma. Digestive disturbances &amp; pins and needles may be seen frequently n MS. Cataracts can develop at age 57. Your neurologist can advise you further.

i have had tingling in both feet for over 5 months. now the tingling in my left foot has turned into pins and needles. i have had mri & emg tests and results were negative for ms & neuropathy ..... but no one can seem to help me... and im afraid?

: Important that a small fiber neuropathy be evaluated, via skin punch biopsy, and consider lumbar stenosis if MRI of lumbar spine was not included.  Do not clearly understand what testing was done for "MS", was there a lumbar puncture?  Get second opinion with a neurologist at a nearby medical school.

hi, today i was diagnosed with upper airway resistance syndrome (uars) and last week with vocal cord paralysis . are these two have any connections with ms? i have difficulty walking, pins and needles, electrical shock pain along spinal cord. thanks?

Diagnostic dilemma: The lung and vocal cord issues are not features of MS, but some of your symptoms could be associated with such a problem, especially the "electrical shock pain along spinal cord".  All of this needs careful correlation.  Have you previously had a neurological diagnosis?
If not, perhaps time to see neurologist and get this pinned down.
