Consuklt a dermatolo: A skin specialist(dermatologist) is the best doctor to advise you about how to take care of your moles. You should have yourself examined and follow the advice of a dermatologist  as some of these moles can change into a melanoma which is a dangerous type of skin cancer. Any mole can be removed if needed.

: Siblings typically obtain a mixed variety of genes from their parents. Sometimes the genes are more similar between two siblings than they are for others. For example two siblings might have the same color hair or eye color while another sibling is different. The same would be true fir skin color and birthmarks. Hope that helps.

You did what?: Unless you are experienced at this doing that yourself is very dangerous.  The brown dots could be coagulated blood, residual pigmented tissue or possibly healing tissue called granulation buds.  Irregaurdless you need to have this looked at.  It is very likely some debridement or other surgical work as well as a biopsy of any residual tissue.

Not likely: If it has been there and not changed for a long time, then it is very very unlikely to b anything to be concerned about. When moles change either in shape, size, color, or texture then there is concern for it transforming into a cancer and t should be checked out.

No: The chances of infection and unsightly scarring would be greatly increased. Go to a plastic surgeon or dermatologist to have this done.
