Moth ball addiction: Is very dangerous. Inhalation of moth ball vapor or licking/ ingesting moth balls can have severe health consequences.  Strongly encourage comprehensive medical evaluation to determine  health status and working with an addiction psychiatrist.Mothballs are usually all active ingredient ; are composed of either paradichlorobenzene or napthlene. They dissolve from a solid to a vapor which is toxic.

Naphthalene mothball: Ingestion in children has led to vomiting, lethargy diarrhea, abdominal pain, v appetite, fever, pain w urination, dark urine, coma ; convulsions w acute hemolytic anemia, encephalopathy, kernicterus. HFMD: Is a common viral illness seen in children.  There is no treatment for it other addressing the symptoms, Tylenol (acetaminophen) for fever, fluids, rest, etc.

Varies : There are multiple potential causes.  The plantar fascia runs from the calcareous to the metatarsal heads "balls" and can become inflamed in a condition known as plantar fasciitis.  Metatarsalgia is another common cause.  Don't hesitate to be seen for a specific diagnosis.

After tarsal tunnel surgery, or any surgery, it is important to prevent the negative effects of scar tissue by performing range of motion exercises once your surgeon allows.  I would contact your physician.
