No answer: "addiction" is a non-specific term typically referring to difficulty abstaining from ongoing use of a particular substance (including alcohol and prescription/non-prescription medications). Substance dependence is a defined condition within the current dsm-iv-tr diagnostic manual. While i've never heard of someone being "addicted" to moth balls, it would consist of the criteria outlined as above.

Inhalent: This is an addiction to sniffing moth balls which are made of naphthalene or paradichlorobenzene. It is very dangerous.
