Depends on cause,but: Stomach 'convulsions' are cramps of spasming of the upper GI tract.  Depening upon the cause (gas, diverticulosis, constipation, food poinsoning, lactose intolerance, etc etc.), there are various treatments.  Home remedies include chamomile tea, prune juice,  apple cider vinegar; OTC agents include GasEx for gas, bismuth preparations for excess acid, &amp; MOM.  If those don't work, see your PCP

That's true:: The main function of that drug is to Relax the muscles, for which its generally used; BUT, as any drug, it might have a side effect (in some individuals) of causing convulsions.
In majority patients it does it job, but in some of us, due to how it is metabolized, it can cause side effects.

Yikes!: This is serious.  Sometimes putting the patient in a drug-induced coma can help until the inflammation from the meningoencephalitis resolves.  Is the cause of the disease known.  I hope the patient gets better.

Do not insert any objects in the person's mouth; this can also cause injury. Reassure concerned bystanders and ask them to give the child room. Remove sharp objects (glasses, furniture, etc.) from around to prevent injury. Call 911 if the seizure lasts >5 min.
