Dr. Ecaterina Sartina answered

Seizures/epilepsy: Gently put child on the ground. Loosen clothing around the neck. Do not try to hold the child down or restrain, this can result in injury. Do not insert any objects in the person's mouth; this can also cause injury. Reassure concerned bystanders and ask them to give the child room. Remove sharp objects (glasses, furniture, etc.) from around to prevent injury. Call 911 if the seizure lasts >5 min.
