1-2 weeks depending : If you were premedicated with antibiotics it may take less than a week. If not, and depending on the surgical skill of the doctor, it could take 1-2 weeks. If it lasts longer than that it must be checked by your dentist.

insides of both cheeks are puffy and raw along the lines where my upper and lower teeth meet, and my lymph nodes under my jaw hurt. what could it be?

Teeth grinding?: Some people grind teeth at night. You may be biting inside of cheek. Local injury can cause lymph nodes to enlarge. You might be damaging salivary duct inside cheek, leading to enlargement of the submandibular salivary gland. See a doctor. A dentist, oral surgeon or ENT would be the experts in that area.

can teeth germ (germ on teeth) cause swollen lymph nodes under the jaw?

If infected.: Just the presence of bacteria in the mouth will not do anything and is normal.  But an infected tooth, like a tooth abscess often causes swollen lymph glands under the jaw.   It's usually painful and gets you to see a dentist right away.  If there is no tooth pain the reason is something else.

See your PCP: or see an oral surgeon for evaluation, imaging and labs. Lymph nodes help your recognize and fight infections and they are important part of your immune system. The possibilities for your chief complaint are dental abscess, salivary glands infection, lymph nodes infection or jaw bone infection. Neck pain could be a comorbidity. Be well.

Swelling: Can't see your other question...system doesn't work that way.  As a general rule, any pain, swelling, or bleeding should be immediately investigated.  Could be lymph nodes swollen from trying to filter an infection, or partially blocked salivary gland, or draining abscess, or so many other things.  Bite the bullet, call your Dentist or an Oral Surgeon for an examination.

Yes: Impacted wisdom teeth that are symptomatic can contribute to pain and swelling of the lymph nodes.

2 possibilities: Either there's still a dental problem or there's a different focus of infection.

Vague: Hard to say.  I would see a Dr. and/or an oral surgeon to have this checked asap

It depends: Wisdom teeth alone do not cause that
however if you have an infection around wisdom teeth, that can be a plausable cause
check with your primary care or dentist.

Related: May be related.  If tooth was treated only with antibiotics, you may be dealing with recurrent infection.  If tooth was properly treated, may be sign of residual infection.  Return to the Dentist that treated you for reevaluation.
