See your PCP: or see an oral surgeon for evaluation, imaging and labs. Lymph nodes help your recognize and fight infections and they are important part of your immune system. The possibilities for your chief complaint are dental abscess, salivary glands infection, lymph nodes infection or jaw bone infection. Neck pain could be a comorbidity. Be well.

Lymph node: Swollen lymph node, if that's what it actually is, signifies infection. There are other reasons for localized swelling. Please see your General Dentist or General Physician to determine the cause of the swelling. Once determined the correct treatment can be administered.
