Hard to say: What you describe needs a physical exam, likely with a thyroid ultrasound and possibly a us guided fine needle biopsy. I would encourage you to seek out an endocrinologist as soon as possible.

having the front and right side of thyroid removed due to lumps, i have pain shooting up the side of neck into ear, it's a sharp pain is it the lumps?

Thyroid lumps: Usually lumps in the thyroid do not cause pain, but they can be associated with pain, if the thyroid gland is inflamed. It is common for an inflamed thyroid gland to be associated with ear pain. If you are having the lumps removed, hopefully, the biopsy will tell you if the gland is inflamed.

i have a growth or lump on right side just above adams apple. i thought it was an ingrown hair, but it hasn't gone away. no pain. thyroid nodules

Have it evaluated: Is the mass firm, or soft? Mobile or fixed? It could be any number of things, however, if it is new and is concerning, you should probably have it evaluated by your primary care physician first. It could be just a simple cyst, in which case an office based excision will take care of the problem.

: You need more than blood tests to evaluate a neck lump. For example you could have normal thyroid blood test with cancer. You need a careful examination of your neck by your physician or an ENT specialist. He/she will then determine whether an ultrasound or a CT scan should be done.or whether it's a nonserious lump which may or may not require a followup examination of it in a few weeks.

i have developed a lump on the back r side of my head. i tend to scratch it terribly and wake with scabs! is this an enlarged thyroid?

your lesion sounds like ''seborrhic dermatitis/eczema"...A localized dandruff like condition... It could be infected hair follicles in that scalp area.
Before asking your md, you may wanna try applying 1% Hydrocortisone ointment alternating with neosporin oint.
Selsun blue[selenium sulfide 2%] shampoo will additionally help.

In Mets: The thyroid gland is a midline neck structure sitting on the larynx or Adams Apple.  When on swallows the thyroid gland moves up so that any pathology noted is known to become elevated higher in the midline neck.  If the mass you are palpating in the side of the neck region does not move as noted, think of  metastatic nodal pathology which must be evaluated.  Neck scan and bx necessary.

hard lump on left side of neck about half way up can't be moved and clicking in thyroid could this be tmj related ? if no what is it?

Probably not TMJ: Your TMJ is just medial to the tragus of your ear. Your post did not say how long you have this growth or if it increasing in mass, but it should be evaluated by a physician to determine its cause and the proper course of treatment.
