Thyroid front neck: You should have your doctor take a look at what you have on your head. Your thyroid gland is located in the bottom third of your neck, right in between the two muscles that stick out when you turn your head from side-to-side (sternocleidomastoid muslces) and 2-3 inches above the top of your breast bone.
