You need more than blood tests to evaluate a neck lump. For example you could have normal thyroid blood test with cancer. You need a careful examination of your neck by your physician or an ENT specialist. He/she will then determine whether an ultrasound or a CT scan should be done.or whether it's a nonserious lump which may or may not require a followup examination of it in a few weeks.

Agree with Dr. C. You could watch and wait. It may be a lymph node. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor.
