Possible Infection?: "c. Diff" is an infection in the colon after receiving antibiotics for your surgery.  If you have watery diarrhea, fevers ; chills you should see your surgeon or family doctor as soon as possible.

How Long ago was it?: It is not uncommon to give local injections in oral surgeries or give topical local to make the intubation less uncomfortable. The local from that could last a while. Also, you could have had compression of your tongue that caused nerve injury.  That can take longer to come back. Let your anesthesiologist know.

Normal: Early after a surgical procedure, the tissue under the incision feels hard for up to several weeks. Surgeons refer to this as a "healing ridge".  If the hard lump is large and visible however, there could be a collection of blood (hematoma) or fluid (seroma), both if which should resolve on their own. See your surgeon for an exam to be sure.

Xray/MRI: I suggest both soft tissue xrays and MRI of the surical site if there was no metal implanted in your back.

carpal boss surgery. hard bone like lump formed shortly after surgery. larger than original boss. is this likely to be bone or scaring internally? if so is there a name for the scarring? scaring on outside healthy and normal. thank you?

: Is this a return of the carpal boss or unsuccessful surgery?   What symptoms are you experiencing?    What does the hand surgeon think? Is a second opinion worthwhile?  I doubt you'll rush into another surgical procedure.

swelling of frenulum under tongue after surgery for it healed . swelling increases and reddens after i brush my teeth . worried about what it may be.

See dentist: There will be some redness after this kind of surgery.  The area will be delicate and bruises easily if you hit it with a toothbrush.  Be gentle with your toothbrush.  See the dentist that did the surgery if you have questions or concerns about healing.

Depends: How big is the "lump"? Is it a cosmetic issue? It is not likely to shrink much more on its own. If it is a cosmetic issue you should consult a doctor for evaluation.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

inguinal hernia. i had hernia surgery about two weeks ago, didn't lift anything, but lump and hurts like it did after surgery. is it ok?

Prob scar tissue: Scar tissue can be extra sensitive  I would suggest following up with the surgeon or your PCP to make sure not a post surgical issue

had a reaction to something after surgery 5 days ago. i have face, tongue swelling and numbness, taking prednisone, benadryl. when will swelling stop?

Drug reaction : It usually disappears within 72 to 96 hours. However it is sometimes present up to 14  days so just continue your mess and relax
