i have had a lump behind my wisdom tooth for several years now. it almost seems between my mouth and nose. it never seems to change size. what is it?

Hard to say: if it never changed size or texture or color it could be either a piece of bone or even a thickening of the gum. You ready should have some one look at it... Because it may be ok for Now!

i have hard lump behind my uvula what is it? could it be related to my wisdom tooth which is decaying?

Yes: Most likely you have an infection in that tooth which is causing swelling and possible bony expansion. It could be other things as well. You should have it evaluated by an oral surgeon who can extract the wisdom tooth and do a biopsy of the lump if he/she feels it may not be related to the tooth. Get it dealt with asap as it can only get worse and can actually become life threatening.

i have a jelly like lump above my wisdom tooth on the inside of my mouth behind it. what could it be? i also feel like something is stuck in my throat

Possible infection: Sounds like a gum infection or a tooth abscess.  See your general dentist or an oral surgeon for evaluation.

Might be abscess...: If the tooth does not hurt, then the nerve in the tooth may have died... that's why the tooth does not hurt. Your best bet is to have that tooth extracted ASAP.

Painful lump: That sounds like an infections which would require immediate treatment. Call and see your dentist as soon as possible. It might require removal of the wisdom tooth.

Wisdom tooth: Sutures are not meant to last more that a week or so. However, if you feel any lumps or discomfort, have the dentist who removed your tooth see you for a follow up evaluation.  This is part of the responsibility of your dentist.

Poss. gum infection: Common to have deep gum pockets around a wisdom tooth that can accumulate food debris 'cause it hard to clean.  Try vigorous rinsing 4-5x/day with hydrogen peroxide diluted 50/50 with water and meticulously brushing and flossing everytime you eat.  If it gets worse or does not resolve in 5-6 days have a dentist evaluate the area before it gets out of hand.

See below. : Sounds like they may be lymph nodes. Jane this checked out by your Dr. to evaluate them and determine whether they may be reactive/inflammatory, or more serious. You may need further investigations.

Possible infection: You may need antibiotics, and you should definitely call your providers office for answers.  If this is recent extractions, then it is not unusual, if it is awhile ago it would be more concerning.  Best thing to do is call your providers office.  Best of luck.
