: Impossible to interpet without seeing and examining kid. I am an Internist.  There seems to be problem with too many lymphocytes which needs to have the cause found. If recent viral infection could be it. Discus with Dr.there who will know most likely causes in Pakistan.  I do not.

I'm not sure: An absolute lymphocyte count of 2, 700 - 3, 700 in a 4 year old isn't abnormal. I'm curious who drew the test and why you feel it's abnormal. This is a discussion to have with the provider who ordered the test. If this is the total WBC count then it is a little low; the significance depends a lot on why the test was ordered in the first place. Again, a discussion to have with whomever ordered it.

More info is needed: Low lymphocyte counts may be associated with low immunoglobulin levels.  If your child has been ill or is ill now, i strongly recommend that she be seen by a pediatric hematologist.  I would hold off on any additional vaccinations until the issue is clarified.  What meds is your child on?  Good luck!  check with your pediatrician for guidance.

Lymphocyte: Low lymphocyte count can be from many different things - it can be seen in certain ethnic groups, it can be from recurrent infections, autoimmune disorders, inflammatory disorders or allergic diseases (food allergy, asthma). It may also just be a normal value for that particular child.

Reference ranges: The reference range for any lab value usually should include 95% of normal people. So, you could be in the 5% that are outside the range. Alternatively you could have one of several selective deficiencies in lymphocyte subclasses. If you're otherwise healthy though, they are unlikely.
