A member asked:

What does it mean to have a normal wbc but high lymphocytes, basophils and platelets in a child with intermittent low grade fevers and aches and pains?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Likely viral illness: The lymphocytes come up percentage wise in many viral illnesses. A mild elevation of the platelets is a non-specific indicator of stress common with an illness.
