Not really: Adrenal fatgue is not a known medical condition. The adrenal insufficiency that is severe or after the total adrenal removal can lead to aldosreone deficincy and then the patienr may need medication like florinef (fludrocortisone).

Timing of blood draw: hormones such as aldosterone and testosterone are secreted in a circadian fashion and in the case of aldosterone in response to whether you are lying down, sitting or standing. Sodium is a good measure of adequate water balance and sodium concentration in the body. A single aldosterone and testosterone level without addressing posture and timing in the day is of little value

Q: i was diagnosed with addison's. my test which i just took showed aldosterone lc/ms/ms 1 ng/dl . my sodium results were within normal numbers. is this indicating my cortisol is low?

Possibly: Heparin has been known to lower blood pressure and raising serum potassium from reducing aldosterone levels. Causing thombocytopenia(low platelets) with associated bleeding of vulnerable areas in the body also will lead to weakness. However having used heparin for very many years, I causing problems from low aldosterone levels must be a rare problem  as most patients will compensate

More history: I don't know much about your history or what has caused you to have this testing in the first place so I won't be of much help, BUT the aldosterone level is low and may warrant further testing for Cushing's syndrome, 17-alpha-hydroxylase deficiency,Liddle's syndrome,ectopic ACTH syndrome, or mutations of your mineralcorticoid receptors. You need to talk to your doctor for more direction.

Renin levels: If one has a low aldosterone and angiotensin ii, one would expect a high renin level. Renin leads to angiotensin i and ii synthesis. If those levels are low and the person is ambulatory, the person's renin would be expected to be high. Hypoaldo &amp; edema: It would be rare for a person with a low aldosterone to have edema. But would depend on kidney function, cause of low aldo and salt intake. If you have had both kidneys removed which causes  low aldo then you will get edema related to how much salt you eat. if your aldo is low because u eat way to much salt you might have edema. If no adrenals is causing low aldo then rare to have edema

Tests steroid metab: Apparently you are undergoing a work up for steroid and male hormones/androgen metabolism.  These are unusual blood tests, and typically only performed when, usually a specialist, has a specific diagnosis in mind.
