Aldo of 1 ng/dl low?: 49 F LA asks is aldo of 1 ng/dl low. Depends on normal values for the lab doing the assay. Other causes could be very high salt intake. How much salt do you eat? If a salt glutton may be normal. Team needs to do a 24 hr urine for Na on same day. Other reasons: eat licorice every day, have Liddle's Synd or Apparent Mineralocorticoid excess, or have no adrenals or have GRA & taking steroids.
